Jill Carson RYT 200

A cosmetologist by day, Jill’s own chronic pain from carpal tunnel symptoms and the potential for physical strength and better health lured her to yoga. After her chronic pain dissipated, she noticed she was developing the mental and emotional skills of awareness, equanimity, and stress management from her yoga practice. Her experience of physical relief and personal growth through yoga, as well as her genuine desire to help others, led her to teaching. After receiving her RYT 200 hour teaching certification in 2014, she was drawn to the moving meditation Power Yoga creates by keeping movement, breath and intention connected.

For Jill, yoga is a way of life and complete self-care, and she’s grateful to share her perspective on this whole-self experience. Through skillfully designed sequences, she guides a well-rounded practice to demonstrate how yoga can enhance emotional as well as physical health. Jill’s empathy and compassion are unmistakably felt by all who attend her classes.
